Emergency Services

We all know horses have their fair share of emergencies.  Many emergencies can be handled in the field, although some require more intensive care.  For those cases where hospitalization is indicated, we work closely with local emergency and referral clinics to provide the best care for our patients.

Emergency care is always available.  Common equine emergencies include:

• Colic

• Fever

• Laceration

• Severe lameness

• Eye problems (tearing, squinting, cloudiness of the cornea)
